Subfootball season just around the corner!

Well Subfootball time is quickly approaching and it is about time to get preparations underway.

So what should you do?

Get your shoes ready - While a sturdy pair of cross-trainers will be fine, when the ground gets really hard you may find yourself slipping over. Subfootball has a set of rules and somewhere in law 4 it states that:

"A player's footwear must have a moulded sole of rubber or flexible plastic.
Football boots with rigid plastic or metal sprigs (also known as studs or cleats) are not permitted."

Which means winter boots can't be worn (unless it's really muddy and you are particularly sneaky about putting them on).

The other option is to get a pair of 'turf' or 'touch rugby' shoes. You can pick up a fair pair of these from places like The Warehouse or Number 1 shoe warehouse. As if these shoes weren't cheap enough, they even have a 10% discount voucher when you register with their website! OR you could buy a blingbling pair of Adidas shoes.

It just so happens that the subfootball site has a competition to win a pair of Adidas Feranova football boots. All you have to do is go to the website, have a look around then email the contact us link with FOOTBALL BOOTS as the subject, your name and team in the message and the name of the 6 pages of the website.

From what I can tell that would be...

Get in quick the competition closes at the end of September.
