So have you read the rules?
YAWN! - Yeah it can be a hassle to read the rules - but the refs will deal to you if you get it wrong.
I'm sure everyone has read them already but here are some highlights that are important.
* Zero contact... with a wink at the ref girls can get away with plenty but otherwise there is no contact at all in this game.
* You MUST wear the team t-shirt. According to the strict wording of the rules, if any person goes on the field without the correct t-shirt - the team gets no points for the game!
* When sub-ing a player on - you MUST let the ref know, and the player coming on MUST run onto the field from the half-way mark - break this and you'll spend 5 minutes in the sin bin.
* Three girls and three guys in the field at a time - the goalie can be a guy or a girl and cannot leave the goal half circle.
* The goalie is the only player allowed in the small goal square and it is only in this square that the goalie can pickup the ball. If you pass the ball back to your goal keeper - they cannot pick it up. If the opposition were the last to kick it then the goalie can pick it up but they must then throw it. No punts/drop kicks
* Scoring a goal is 3 points and the game starts again like normal soccer from the middle. Hitting the board on either side of the goal is 1 point and the game is restarted with a goal kick.
Phrew...
The wording of the rules has been made more stern this year and there is plenty of times where it mentions sin - binning.
- Make friends with your ref...

Hey Guys,
Only when subbing the goalie do you need to notify the ref, player subbing is fine. Just make sure it's at half way! Otherwise i'll be sending you to the sin-bin! I'm gonna be a ref this year!! :P hehe
